Robin's Homepage

HELLO!! My name is Robin Adams and I am currently a 7th Grade teacher at George Junior High School in Rosenberg, Texas. George JH is a part of the Lamar Consolidated School District. I teach both Algebra and Pre-Algebra to my wonderful seventh graders and I am the Math Department Head (something that I'm not quite sure about yet!).

I was born and raised in Wharton, Texas (a small town 60 miles southwest of Houston, TX). I graduated from Wharton High School and then went on to Southwest Texas State University (GO Bobcats!!) which is located in beautiful San Marcos, Texas. While there, I was initiated into Zeta Tau Alpha and then finally graduated in December 1993. I have a BS in Interdicisplinary Studies with a specialization in mathematics. Basically, this just says that I am certified to teach grades 1-8.

Since graduation, I have taught both fifth and seventh grades, got a dog, and got a husband (Randy!! He is a state trooper.)!! Needless to say my life has been very hectic!! I'm ready for things to slow down!

This summer I participated in a program called GirlTECH. We created lessons from information that we found on the Internet. Mine are as follows but I have to warn you that they are always under construction!! My work is never finished!!
