       Each of the images below is called a thumbnail.   It is a smaller version of a larger picture.  This is an effective way to display a larger number of pictures on one page while keeping their filesize [and, therefore their loading time] as small as possible.  Each of the pictures also is a link.  Click on them, and it will call up the larger version of the image.  Use your Back button to return to this page.  Displaying images in this way allows your viewers to decide which pictures to view without waitng for all of them to load.  Creating them is as simple as opening your larger image in an image editor [like PhotoShop], resizing the image, and saving the thumbnail under a different name.
