Crediting CEEE

The following section is the same as the bottom portion of the GirlTECH template. You should use it on all your pages. It will give credit to the CEEE and the NSF.

At the bottom of this page is the source code for the template footer.  You can simply copy-and-paste it by doing the following:

  • First, make sure your HTML document is already open in your text editor.
  • Drag across the code, highlighting [selecting] it.
  • On a PC, click on the highlighted code with your right mouse button, and choose Copy from the menu that will pop up.  On a Mac, follow the same procedure, but simply hold down the mouse button.  This will copy the code into memory.
  • Move to your HTML document, click in the document at the point where you want the code to appear [at the bottom of the page, of course], and paste the code into the HTML document.  In most Windows programs, you can paste by clicking the right mouse button and choosing Paste from the pop-up menu, or by holding down your Control [Ctrl] key and tapping the key for the letter "V", or by choosing Paste from the Edit menu at the top of the screen.  All three methods will work.  On a Mac [I think] it should be basically the same, using the Open-Apple key instead of the Control key.
  • The code will be pasted into your document.
Here's the way it should look.  On each page, you would substitute the correct month, year number, and your name, of course.

Save the file under a name that makes sense for you...like "footer.txt", and you'll have it easily accessible whenever you need it.  You can just copy-and-paste from a file on your own computer instead of having to find this webpage every time.   You'll still have to remember to change the date, of course.

That's it.  Back to Friday's Schedule
