Preferences

There are many parts of Netscape that can be customized. We will illustrate how to do that by changing two simple and useful options.

To customize your browser, open Preferences (Edit/Preferences.) The popup box that first appears is for the Navigator category (the part of Netscape Communicator that you are using.) Here, among other things, you can change your Home button location and the History List expiration date.

To choose a new home page, open the page that you want to use as your Home page. Go to Preferences and the Navigator category and click on Use Current Page.

To change the expiration date of the History List, go to the same Navigator category popup and change the number next to
Pages in history expire after __ days

When you are finished, click on OK.
