Forwarding Email from Rice to non-Rice accountNote: If you have more than one Rice account (as do Boyd Hemphill, Mary Wiesner, and Cynthia Lanius), do NOT use this method to forward your email from one Rice account to another Rice account. The Rice system automatically forwards all rice.edu email to a single account, called a "mail home." If you want to forward your @girltech.cs.rice.edu (GirlTECH) email to an other non-Rice account (i.e. houstonisd.org), you'll need to put a .forward ("dot forward") file in /var/spool/forward/<userid>/:
