Katy I.S.D.

Katy, Texas

Would like to introduce myself on a personal level. I was born in San Antonio, Texas and three months later I began my odyssey of traveling with my parents to many countries in Europe, Central and South America. I am bilingual and bicultural by birth, in fact my mother was from Cali, Colombia so I have a strong colombian accent.

I have been a foreign language teacher for ten years, and I love my new career. I did my graduate work at the University of Illinois-Champaign Urbana and I have taught in many high school settings from South America to Texas. I am an adjunct at the University of Houston, and Houston Community College. It is my hope that I will be able to spread the joy of learning Spanish to many new faces during my life time, especially my younger students.
