Experiment 2: Dark vs. Light.

Problem: Do mealworms prefer light or dark?

Hypothesis: What do you think? Will the mealworm prefer light or dark? Explain your answer.

Materials:
1. Flashlight

Procedure:
1. Put the mealworm on the surface of its habitat.
2. Shine the light directly on the worm.
3. Record the results.
4. Repeat this procedure three times.

Observations: Describe how the worm reacted to the light.

Third: ____________________________________________________________________

Conclusions: After repeating this experiment three times what can you conclude about the worm? Was your hypothesis correct? Explain your answer.
