Chance favors the prepared mind. - Pastuer This is my philosophy of life, so I try to absorb all around me. Searching minds open new worlds for exciting journeys. I strive to instill this in my students.

Education and Teaching Experience

I was raised in Newgulf, Texas, a town that was the last "company town" in the United States. After graduating from Boling High School, I attended Texas A&M University, Wharton County Jr. College, and graduated with a bachelors of science from University of Houston. I have taught physical science, biology, physics, environmental science, and chemistry I and AP chemistry in the Texas Gulf Coast area for the past seventeen years. Currently, I am teaching chemistry I and AP chemistry in Fort Bend ISD's newest high school, Stephen F. Austin.
