Cropping the image  
  1. On the Toolbox find the marquee tool marquee.jpg (6010 bytes) on the top left.
  2. Click and hold down the left mouseon the small black arrow in the right corner to bring up the other tools; slide the cursor to the crop tool, release the mouse.
  3. Move the cursor (without clicking) over the image-- you will see that the cursor changes to the shape of the tool.
  4. Click on the upper left of the image, hold down the left mouse and drag to the right.
  5. Crop so that only the face part of the image will be used.
  6. Release the mouse; the selection box will be active.
  7. To resize the selection box, grab one of the selection handles
  8. When the selection is the size you want click enter.
  9. File > Save
