For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a math teacher. I recently came across my 7th grade career notebook and even though the assignment given was to research three careers, all my notebook contained was information on the teaching of mathematics. The caption under my high school picture had as my career goal - math teacher. To this day, I can not tell one why I have always wanted to be a math teacher, but here I am - many years older and still happy with my choice.I am certified to teach secondary mathematics in the states of Florida and Texas. I taught 7th, 8th and 9th grades at North Miami and Hartman Junior High schools. At Bellaire High School, I have taught regular and advanced classes in Algebra, Geometry, Senior TAAS, Survey of Mathematics, Math of Money, Precalculus, and A.P. Statistics.
