Ettalois Johnson's Page

I am a native New Yorker where I attended Evander Childs H.S. in the Bronx and received a B.S. in Education from City College of the City University of New York. I did not pursue my career in education until moving to Wiesbaden, Germany where I taught both Elementary and college prep students. After leaving Germany I settled in Houston, Texas where I went back to school and received a Masters in Library Science from Sam Houston State University.
I am active in many organizations both on a professional as well as community level. These organizations include the ALA (American Library Association), TLA (Texas Library Association), TCEA (Texas Computer Education Association), SHHH (Self Help for Hard of Hearing People). I also serve on the TRAC (Rehabilitation Council of Texas). This is a federally mandated statewide council of which I was appointed by Governor George Bush.
