    Procedure

    The class will be divided into 3 groups. Each group will be assigned one of the following civilizations to research: Inca, Maya or Aztec. Each group will be responsible for a research paper documenting their sources, a display of culture, art or life in general and presenting their findings to the class. Each group will also be responsible for creating a quiz over the information they gathered. Information to include: culture, daily life, geography, type of government, industry, religious beliefs, social levels, architecture, agriculture, contributions to society, math and science.

    Assessment

    Students will be graded on a research paper to be turned in at the end of the project, quizes over each civilization and creativity in their presentation of material to the class.
