Add set and line documentation to your box Scheme program

 

Objective:  Communication

Activities:

          Add Set documentation for the original box and your new box.

         In your new box include type of transformation:

o        Translation – include the change in X and change in Y values

o        Dilation – Include the scale factor

o        Reflection – include the equation of the line where reflected

o        Rotation – include degree of rotation, i.e. 90 degree, 270 degree

TLW:

Complete missing work or complete EC Scheme picture

Objective:  Time Management

Activities:

Catch-up and Enhancement Learning Day

          Use your time wisely and complete any missing work.

         Such as your Week 11 work report.

          Extra Credit – Do balloons, Activity 4 or Original picture – Activity 5 in DrScheme

          TEXT BOX with your name and period.

          Look at your Source Code and others with the identical graphic.

KIATQ:  - DID YOU CHEAT? 

L       Identical source code will share the grade. 

L       If your new box is the same as someone else’s,

L       you will be required to plan and code another box.

TLW:

Apply Programming and Planning to math TAKS applications.

Objective:  TAKS – Ratio / Proportion / Percent

Activities:

=      Check analysis of graph comparing width (X) to depth (Y) with an equation of the line for your box. (DW1 – Box or graph submitted)

=      Create an Excel document with the

o        Merge 4 cells and add a TITLE, i.e. BOX PROPORTIONS

o        Add Horizontal headlines: HEIGHT, WIDTH, DEPTH

o        Add Vertical headlines: ORIGINAL, TRANSFORMATION, RATIO

o        Add the measurement in pixels for your Scheme original and new boxes.

o        Calculate the Ratio of height : width : depth

o        KIATQ:  - Are they the same ratio?  If not WHY, as they should be?

=      Turn in your Scheme Box Packet:

  1. Printed Source Code documented (see Monday) and name and period in a text BOX (print definitions)
  2. Graph Paper plans – with 14 coordinates listed
  3. Printed Excel document with proportion and pixel measurement data –
  4. Extra line graphs that help explain the data.

  3. Math – Computer Simulations and QuizLab math E.O.C. and TAKS practice
