The Story of an Atom by Kristina Scott

This lesson was designed by the IPC team at Westfield High School. Its purpose is to expose students to the history of science and some of the discoverers, as well as making atoms relevant through revealing some of their uses.

Technology is integrated in the design as seen through the use of WebQuest to construct this lesson. The students are led from the Task to the Evaluation. The Process delineates each step from gathering information to the Power Point presentation and finally to the creation of the quiz for self-assessment.
