To ensure student success the following should be available:

  • class set of textbooks- Chemistry and/or IPC
  • access to the library or other reference materials
  • at least 3 days of computer lab with Power Point or similar presentation software available as well as internet access
  • projection hardware for the presentation

For most of the project one teacher is sufficient. Enlisting the help of a librarian when researching is invaluable for the research portion of the lesson. When students move into the lab it would be helpful ro have another teacher, aid, or parent volunteer as some students may need more help than others. If this is not an option then a day of computer lab might need to be added to instruct Power Point basics.
