Teacher Papier Mache Demonstration Sheet

Most of the time I will prepare a set of questions to go along a demonstration. This helps my students stay focused on the demonstration, plus writing down the information helps reinforce the art process they need to learn.

  1. What are the three things you need to do before starting to papier mache?
  2. How do you apply the strips of paper with glue on the balloon?
  3. When the balloon is dry how do you CAREFULLY cut it open?
  4. List 4 steps for sculpting with papier mache.
  5. What are the 4 clean-up steps at the end of class?
  6. Which personality trait or ritual have you chosen for your mask?
  7. How do you plan to represent that personality trait or ritual visually?
  8. What colors and items do you plan to use to represent that personality trait or ritual?
