To keep my students focused on a documentary pertaining to a lesson, I give them a set of questions that go along with the video. This helps them listen to the information and keep them focused on important sections I may want them to discuss in class. After they view the video, they are given an opportunity to reflect on the information for the class discussion of questions 4, 8 and 12.
