Students learn Paint, a simple computer graphics software, as an introduction to computer graphics and as a preview to more advanced lessons in Illustrator 9.0.
Part of the lesson includes a study of Escher's tessellations, followed by a step-by-step instruction on how to create a tessellation.
Students are encouraged to use the software creatively to develop this interesting artstyle.
