The American Association of University Women's Educational Foundation offers Eleanor Roosevelt Fellowship grants to teachers whose proposals will support gender equity in their classrooms. Martha Phelps-Borrowman, science teacher at Lanier Middle School was awarded an Eleanor Roosevelt Fellowship for 1995-1996 to implement the girls' science club.
