Technical Details About the Images on These Pages
These images from the Grace Hopper Conference were all taken with a Casio 2000-UX digital camera, at a 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution. The filesizes ranged between 675K and 850K, depending on the color depth needed to capture each image. The images were then opened in Photoshop and edited and reduced. Typically, the only editing consited of rotating the image (if necessary), adjusting the levels to remove the upper and lower color extremes, then reducing the image size from 1600 x 1200 pixels to 600 x 450 (if in landscape orientation), or 375 x 500 (if in portrait orientation). After saving each file, thumbnails were generated by reducing the image one more time, then saving under a modified filename (adding "sm" ...for "small"....), and using the thumbnail as a link to the larger image.
I guess that's it. If I think of anything else, I'll add it.
