Overhead transparancy(or worksheet)

Procedure:

Teacher will develop an overhead that contains numbers that describe important information about herself. She will give a question to match each bit of information. Students are to match each bit of information with each number. An example is given below. You will want to put about 10-12 items on your page.

  • How many years have I taught school?
  • How many miles do I have on my car?
  • What is the age of my son?
  • What year was I born?
  • How many miles do I live from school?

  • Set an amount of time for students to complete information.
  • Then give correct answers.
  • Then let students develop their own "Vital Statistics Worksheet".
  • They can trade with another student and solve each other's worksheet.
