## CENTIMETER RACE

```Number of players: 2 to 4 players
Materials: Game board (laminated or several copies), centimeter rulers,
felt tip pens, spray bottle & cloth (for erasers), 6 sided
or 8 sided number cube.
Objective: Measuring length in centimeters.
(TEKS b8B)```
How to play:
The object of the game is to reach the FINISH line. Each player rolls the number cube to see who begins. The player with the highest number plays first, and races in LANE 1.
Take turns rolling the number cube. Put the centimeter ruler by your lane, with the zero mark at the START line. Measure the number of centimeters shown by the number cube, and place a mark at that spot on your lane. On your next turn, place the zero mark of the ruler at the last mark you put on your lane and measure off the number of centimeters shown by the number cube. The first player to touch or cross the finish line is the winner.
