Course Outline

BCIS stands for Business Computer Information Systems. Students will learn how to use Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet.

BIMM stands for Business Image Multimedia Management. Students will learn how to use different Multimedia softwares.

Course Description

Develops technology skills with applications for personal or business situations focusing on word processing, spreadsheets, databases, telecommunications, desktop publishing, presentation management, networking, orperating systems, emerging technologies and intermediate-level skills.

Grades

• 100 - 90 = A
  
• 89 - 80 = B
  
• 79 - 70 = C
  
• 69 - 60 = D
  
• 69 and below = F
  

Supplies Needed:

• Folder @ brads and pockets
• A 8 1/2 3-ring binder (black or white ONLY) this is a necessity!
• 3 1/2 Disk (purchase from instructor) - this disk stays in the classroom
  You may not take this disk home.

Classroom Rules:

• Be on time. If you are not in your seat
  when the bell rings, you are tardy.
• No food, gum, or drinks in the lab.
• If you miss class, you have the number of
  days you were out to make up your work.
• Any systems changes made to school computers
  will result in disciplinary action.
• Treat others with respect.
