FIRST DAY-

Anticipatory set:
Uses the fraction clocks make the student practice the fractions as well the clock parts.

Objective /Purpose: *Problem Solving.
TLW listen "el reloj " and review parts of the clock.
TLW play walk- around the clock game without a minute and discuss directionality.(1.1d,1.8b,1.11c,1.12a.)

Vocabulary:
O'clock , manecillas ,reloj ,relojes .

Instructional Input:
Using small clocks the student and the teacher will interact to practice the time demonstrating all the hour times from 1 through 12 o'clock and children say the time aloud.

Modeling:
Showing a big clock the teacher will modeling all the parts of a clock and show some student's exercises sheets about what they can do in 1 minute.

Checking for understanding:
Ask to the student reads time on the clock, identifies hour and minute hand and write the hours.

Guided practice:
Using "el reloj" the teacher will modeling all the parts that it have and show and explain what directionality is .

Independent practice:
The student will make several small clocks and practice some activities which they can use this concepts using student's sheets .

Closure:
Using" the review page" (el glossario ) the student will understand and practice the concepts.

Re-teaching tips:
The student will practice in a group form the concepts using the every day count calendar.

Materials needed:
Demonstration clock with movable hands, clock transparency small manipulative clock, time cards.

SECOND DAY-
