Hello! My name is Susan Caragay...a.k.a.
future Mrs. Emison. Thanks for visiting my homepage! Hailing from
La Porte, Texas, I am also a proud graduate of the University of
Texas at Austin with a BBA in Marketing. Go Horns!
After being in the corporate world
for 8 years, I am happily the Business Technology & Speech teacher
for 10th grade at KIPP Houston high school. KIPP stands for "Knowledge
is Power Program", and it is an innovative charter school for
minority teens who are college bound.
In addition to my teacher training,
I have been busily planning my upcoming wedding in Houston to my
hubby-to-be, Bobby. We met about 10 months ago and I've been smiling
ever since.
Since we are on a tight budget (who
isn't?), we have been spending much of our time surfing the web,
negotiating with vendors, comparing quotes, and most importantly-
compromising with each other on our "must-haves" versus
"maybe-nots". To help you practice before your real life
wedding, I have created a lesson plan on creating a wedding
budget, which will truly prepare you for the actual "big
event" in your future.
