PROM DATE ACTIVITY:

The presentation must include the following:

* Title slide and a closing slide

* Excellent design format

* Clipart

* Animation Effects

* Transition Effects

* Spelling and Grammar Checks

* Appropriate use of slide text management (no long sentences)

* 10 Slide minimum (do not count the title slide and the closing slide in this minimum)

*Miscellaneous Slides:

The last three slides may be of your own choosing and design. You may also use actual scanned in pictures if you so desire for these slides, but they must be appropriate.

DATE SELECTION:

List the criteria for the date that you have or will select. Will you select them on appearance, personality, etc.? Search the following Web sites and find a picture that would most likely fit the criteria of the date you have or will select.

QUESTION PREPARATION:

Search the following sites for at least 3 Ice Breakers that can lead up to asking him/her to be your date.

ATTIRE:

Outline color selection for possible date so that you will be coordinated. Search the selected sites and find prices of 3 items Tuxedo/dress that you may rent or purchase.

BUDGET:

Prepare a labeled pie chart in Excel of your Prom Budget Expenses and import it into your PowerPoint presentation. Search the resources given for prices and all expenses. List sources used

TRANSPORTATION:

Search the Web Sites given to find 3 possible methods of getting to and from the Prom location. Include clip art or scanned pictures of actual types and cost of transportation.

PRE/POST PROM DINNER PLANS:

Search the Web for the type of food you would like to eat. List at least 3 choices of food and restaurants that you can go as a couple or as a group. Make sure you list menu, rating, cost of food and restarants name.

OVERNIGHT OR PROM WEEKEND PLANS:

Search the Web and find the location for a supervised overnight or weekend event of your choice. Include pictures if avaliable, location of site, activities, cost and the name/names of supervisory attendee.

MISCELLANEOUS SLIDES:

The last three slides may be of your own choosing and design. You may also use actual scanned in pictures if you so desire for these slides, but they must be appropriate.
