Adding Color

 

One way to capture a Web page visitor's attention is to use color. Many colors are available for use for the Web page background, text, or links. The most common are shown in the table below.

HTML Color Helper

To change the background color on a Web page, use BGCOLOR in the <BODY> tag. The BGCOLOR attribute lets you change the background color of the Web page.

To Add a Background color

  1. Click after the Y in <BODY> and press the spacebar.
  2. Type BGCOLOR=#94D6e7 as the color code.

To add Text color

  1. Click immediately to the right of the <I> tag. Type <FONT COLOR ="#000099">
  2. Click immediately to the right of Appetite!. Type </FONT>
